Upgrade Our Sound, Amplify Our Stories
Investing in the Pressley Meeting Room
Last year, the Friends of the Bastrop Public Library replaced the well-loved but aging tables in the Pressley Meeting Room. Building on that investment, the Friends are now beginning work on our next major initiative: investing in technology for the Pressley Meeting Room, one of the library's most important gathering spaces.
The Pressley Meeting Room is used year-round for library programs, educational workshops, and meetings of local nonprofits, civic organizations, and community groups. Our vision is to modernize the room's technology so every presentation can be clearly seen and heard, creating a more welcoming, accessible, and functional space for everyone who gathers there.
A Room That Brings Our Community Together
